Different kinds of Stoves

Fire is essential to our lives. Fire produces heat. Heat give us warmth, heat to cook our food, and heat to generate energy. There are many source of heat. Stove is one of the sources and commonly used around the world.

Stove is a heated chamber or box, portable or fixed that furnishes heat for some purpose like cooking; commonly using coal, oil, gas, wood, or electricity as a source of power. Wood stove is the usual and cheapest available source of heat. Wood is the most easily available form of fuel to use for creating fire which gives heat. It requires no tools in the case of picking up dead wood such as logs, bolts or blocks, charcoal, chips, sheet pellets and sawdust.

A multi-fuel stove is another kind that is very similar to a wood stove in look and design. Multi-fuel refers to the ability to burn not only wood, but also coal and peat. If there is a grate for the fire to burn on and removable ash pan, then it is a multi-fuel stove.
