Easy Songs to Sing



Music exist from way back and to the present (Hello?! A.I., American Idol, Go Jessica and Phillip:), this just proves that music is and will always be one of the most important things in the world. It is a fact that music has been a part of a person’s life. Either we listen to it for entertainment or for relaxing. When we hear a familiar song, we instantly hum or sing out the lyrics. Singing has been a past time for a lot of people, some even go the extra mile and join a music school just to improve their voices. However, it is also a fact that not all of the songs can be sung by everybody; it may depend on the tone of our voice, whether or not it will fit us. For those who are not that blessed with a beautiful voice, there are easy songs to sing. You do not need to have a perfect voice to sing these songs, you just have to have confidence and of course, practice.

The easy songs to sing differ for boys and girls 

For the boys, top songs that are easy are the following: Fools Rush in by Elvis Presley, Hero by Enrique Iglesias, Lips of an Angel by Hinder, She will be Loved by Maroon 5, Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond, Don’t Stop Believing by the Journey, Livin’ on a Prayer by Bon Jovi, Satisfaction by the Rolling Stones and Everything I do for you by Bryan Adams. You will notice that almost all of these songs require a groggy and shaky low voice. It is most preferable for guys who can’t reach a high notes.

For the girls, the following songs can be sung easily: 
I Will Survive by Gloria Gaynor, Wannabe by the Spice Girls, It’s raining Men by the Weather Girls, Independent Woman by Destiny’s Child, Dancing Queen by ABBA, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun by Cyndi Lauper and I Am Woman by Helen Reddy. Unlike the boy’s songs, these songs are high pitched, most appropriate for girls.

On the other hand, If you want to join contests and you need to find an easy song to sing, you can sing any of the following in this list: Bubbly by Colbie Caillat, And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going by Jennifer Hudson, Inseperable by Jasmine Trias, Already Gone by Kelly Clarkson, Taking Chances by Celine Dion and 100 Years by Five for Fighting. The following songs are easy pitched songs for any singing contest. These songs have their individual stories, so internalize the song to attract audience and of course, the judges.

Easy songs to sing are good exercises for people who want to further develop their voice. However, to make it more challenging, you can take it to the next level by joining a music school and you might be able to sing high pitched songs. Remember that practice makes perfect, so whether you enter a music school or not practicing can definitely improve your voice.
